An art school trip to Cape town is always rich with diversity. Known as ‘The Mother City’ Cape Town was voted world's design capital in 2014. With dramatic convergence of The oceans and the Table mountains as well as the picturesque undulating landscape, these attributes influenced the city as a confluence of culture, art scene and culinary expressions.

The diversity of people has continually shaped the evolution of art in the city with some even dedicated to climate action awareness, marine life conservation, and expressions of ones’ identity. Music festivals, art shows, fashion festivals and great art curators all contribute to the vibrant showbiz.

Our Study trip aims to expose the students to the present with an outlook of the future in the world of performing arts. In our quest, we will indulge in the world of art curators, visit art galleries, explore the fashion shows, tour art studios, attend a university lecture and compliment with interactive cultural offerings to enrich our trip.

As a design capital,Cape Town has a rich art scene with fascinating installations in festivals, world class galleries in contemporary Museum (MOCCA), an Artistic influenced neighbourhood with colourful Murals and a culture of appreciating arts.  Our musical minds will lead us to explore music genres like Amapiano, Gqom, Afro-house with local artists. Also visit a recording studio and production theatre to get the behind the scene work on performance arts.
