Science Study trip to Singapore takes students on an exploration of modern Singapore - from its science and technology initiatives under the Smart Nation program, to renewable energy, water management infrastructure, and the success of multiculturalism in an urbanised city state.
Students gain a greater understanding of the rich history and diverse cultures of Singapore and its ongoing transformation into a world-class science and tech-driven nation.
Our study trips will start off at the Science Centre Singapore: This is a must-visit, with over 1,000 interactive exhibits spanning topics like physics, biology, and environmental science. The Kinetic Garden and Eco-Garden provide outdoor learning experiences, while the Omni-Theatre offers an immersive space and astronomy experience.
Later they will visit the ArtScience Museum: Located at Marina Bay Sands, this museum blends science, technology, and art in a range of exhibitions, many of which are interactive and futuristic, highlighting the role of science in everyday life.
After arrival protocols, they will See next-gen digital technologies driving innovation. Learn about water management & flood mitigation at the Marina Barrage, and technologies recycling waste water through microfiltration and UV disinfection.
Visit Changi Chapel and Museum, dedicated to Singapore’s history during WWII and the Japanese occupation. Get immersed in the country’s multicultural literary heritage at the NUS. Guided tour of iconic city sites.
Explore the wonders of physical science through hands-on workshops and demonstrations from renewable energy to electricity and magnetism, cutting-edge technology to sustainable ecosystems. Delve into Singapore’s visual art heritage at the Singapore Art Museum. Get hands-on with an intro to local cuisine, and finish the day cruising the Singapore Bay area.
Workshop the connections between art, science and technology at the Art Science Museum – from digital installations to video games. Discover the sights, sounds, tastes and architecture of bustling Chinatown. A fun morning at Universal Studios, some last-minute shopping and site-seeing.
